How do you prepare for disasters?  I believe the answers are in the numbers.  Almost half the population of Haiti 16yo or less...therefore this is essentially a pediatric disaster.  The Pediatric Disaster Resource and Training Center at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles is standing up our informatics center to respond to this crisis.  We have developed PEDSS.  Learn more go to:  http://think-fast-decisions.blogspot.com/ .
