Haiti Relief Update--Henri R. Ford, MD, FACS, FAAP returns from disaster site

As many of you know the Pediatric Disaster Resource and Training Center was boots on the ground in the early phase of the disaster response in Haiti.  Dr. Ford is the administrative liaison from the CHLA executive leadership team (http://www.chladisastercenter.org/site/c.ntJYJ6MLIsE/b.3569249/k.B4CE/Program_Oversight.htm).  He was embedded with Federal assets on the ground and he was stationed for most of his deployment at the Gheskio Clinic.  The PDRTC took the lead in assisting with his boots on the ground tactical planning, communication package, media awareness and liaisoning with federal assets.

Since returning the PDRTC is assisting with media coordination and next steps in providing the next appropriate steps.
